To the one doing it all (even when no one notices)
If you’re doing everything for everyone and feeling invisible — this is for you.
You’re juggling things no one sees.
The prescriptions, the appointments, the gentle balancing act of offering help without overstepping. The conversations with doctors where you try to sound calm, even though your heart is pounding. One day everything seems okay, and the next, there's a new concern tugging at your heart.
And somehow, in the middle of it all, you're still showing up for your kids, your family, your job. You’re keeping track of everyone’s needs and holding the invisible pieces together. You move from caregiving to parenting to working to worrying, barely catching your breath. Sometimes the ball drops. But somehow you pick it back up and keep going, because people are counting on you and you care that much.
I see you.
Because I’m in it too.
I started Elder Care with Love because being a caregiver, especially for an aging parent, can feel incredibly isolating. People say “you’re so strong,” but they’re not there at 10:00 PM when you’re sorting insurance forms or replaying the moment your frustration spilled out in your voice. You don’t feel strong. You feel overwhelmed, lost, and alone.
This isn’t a place for perfection. This is a space for real people doing their best with what they have. For adult children who have suddenly become “the responsible one.” For the moments where love and exhaustion exist at the same time.
Here, I’ll be sharing lessons I’ve learned the hard way, tools I’ve made, and encouragement for the days you need to cry in the car……. then keep going anyway.
You’re not alone.
And you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.
